GLA Sailing Challenge – Lessons of Leadership & Team Building

Global Leaders Academy is proud to announce a special sailing day in Port Solent, an internationally renowned port with stunning scenery and a terrific mix of sailing conditions. Members and special guests will be encouraged to participate in a challenge between two teams, learning skills such as effective communications, team dynamics, learning styles, situational leadership, language, goal setting, strategy & planning, briefing & debriefing and more. These are all key skills in our everyday effectiveness at work and in play, and all of these will be discussed on the 3rd August as we compete. A truly unique day, where our platform will not be a stable meeting room, but the exciting and thrilling decks of two yachts!

GLA 4th Annual Golf Day & Summer Luncheon

GLA will host our members and guests to a day of sport and conversation, beginning with a round on the Palmerston course followed by a luncheon. A day away from the everyday rush, time to slow down and experience one of the finest golf clubs in the United Kingdom.

A Leadership Learning Journey to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

An exploration of self renewal and into the renewal of a country

Our learning journey to Brazil will provide insights into one of the world's most prominent economies. Brazil's economy will continue to grow significantly in 2011 and it has been forecast that by 2025 it will become the world's fifth largest, overtaking Britain and France, while Sao Paulo will rank higher than Paris and Shanghai as the world's sixth wealthiest city.

Brazil has a diverse and vibrant mix of culture and heritage, and its people are taking their place on the world stage through economic growth, business, film, visual art, dance, food, sport and much more.

Please join us on the journey to discover first hand the background to this mystery of renewal and vibrancy. While travelling the impressive Brazilian landscapes, we will also explore and deepen our own potential for vibrancy. This will catalyse our renewal as managers and leaders, enhancing our capacity to bring vibrancy to our own lives and the businesses that we are leading.
