Community

The GLA community comprises the founding core team, the global experts who become our friends and honorary members in their own right and our members themselves. We are all co-learners and teachers in the GLA community.

Our Founding Core Team:

GLA was founded by Sue Cheshire (UK) and Sander Tideman (NL) who shared a vision to create self organising communities of leaders learning together around the world dedicated to sustainable wellbeing of themselves, their organisations and the systems they touch.

Our Partners

Jeroen Drontmann

Partner / Co-Founder GLA NL; through Heart Matters Jeroen Drontmann specializes in connecting people with themselves (Head and Heart) and with each other. He has worked as a change management consultant and executive coach for the last 25 years.

Manley Hopkinson

Manley Hopkinson was schooled on leadership through a mix of practical and academic; as an Officer in the Royal Navy and the Royal Hong Kong Police, as a skipper in the BT Global Challenge round the world yacht race, winning a race skiing to the Magnetic North Pole (The Polar Race) and as an "inspiring leadership catalyst" to businesses and organisations world wide. Manley's strength is in creating and developing the transformational leadership behaviours needed for people, businesses and sporting teams to perform at a high level, consistently, enabling people to gain a deeper understanding of self and through that a better understanding of others leading to more effective business and personal relationships. As a partner in the Global Leaders Academy, Manley, in running his own "learning circles", is continuing on his quest to spread compassionate leadership world wide and to help others start on their "true life path".
